Divisions/Eligibility:

• Elementary School

• Middle School

• High School (Below 18)

• Adult (18+)

Registration Form

Every MEMBER of your team must fill out the Registration Form. Your team members may submit the Registration Form before or after the Submission Form, as long as everyone submits by the final deadline.  The form must be filled out in English.

Submission Form

Every TEAM must fill out the Submission Form, which is where you will submit your video. The form must be filled out in English and should only be submitted once per team.

Video

Create a 2 minute video that contains the following:

• Description of the problem you chose to address related to one (or more) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

• How your app addresses the problem using AI

• Demonstration of your app’s features

• Demonstration of someone from the target audience interacting with the app

• English subtitles or closed captions

Judging

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

• Creativity: How novel is the app idea?

• Design: Is the app easy to use and intuitive to navigate? Is the user interface aesthetically appealing and consistent in its design?

• Technical Skill: Is the app fully implemented? Does the code make appropriate use of programming constructs, coding abstractions, and AI components?

• Impact: Does the app have the potential to make a meaningful impact in the selected theme? Does the app use AI in a responsible and ethical way that enhances its impact?

Prizes

• All participants and volunteers will receive a certificate of participation or appreciation.

• Winners in each age division will receive a special Winner Certificate recognizing their achievement in the AIdea Hackathon.
